Hollywood Playground

With my friend finally on his way to Seattle, I thought I might post about our adventures in my two favorite Los Angeles playgrounds: Downtown and Hollywood.  Although ghosts of their glamorous pasts, these nostalgic areas still cast a Tinseltown shadow that the spring break specials and fake tans of the more suburban locales just can’t peek out from.

We played in the parks and the museums and, of course, the bars.  Though I am sad he has left to continue on his adventure to the wild Northwest, I think my wallet may be rejoicing.  Time to hunker down, get back to work, and eat out of the pantry.
